I am in the process of rebuilding a crashed Ion-X. Does anyone know of a link to the manual for the Ion?
Thanks,
David

It was involved in a minor crash - just need to replace the spindle, main shaft, and flybar. Everything else looks ok. I want to make sure it goes back together correctly, and I need to get the right part numbers so we can order spares.
Thanks!

Here's a link to the assembly manual:
http://www.miniatureaircraftusa.com/support/instructions/XCell_IonX_Instruction.pdf
Here's a link to replacement parts:
http://www.miniatureaircraftusa.com/support/kit_parts_summary.asp?kit='1024'&path='../helicopterkits/'
All obtained from www.miniatureaircraftusa.com
Here are the part numbers that my manual shows:
Spindle: 120-5
Flybar: 0566-1
Main Shaft: 0866-15
Hope this helps.

Apparently the Ion that I am working on is not completely stock. This one has an all metal head (grips, etc.). Any idea what head this is? I could post a pic if that would help.
Thanks again,
David

Chris said it , tempest head , is it a dull aluminum color ? or black , if black its the older XCell head , if dull aluminum it could be a tempest 3D head or a FAI head, a picture would help

There is not an Ion-X manual with pics and text. There is an instruction manual and a reference manual. You need both to see instructions and drawings.
