Hello people,
Afther two years Rhandal from remotei send me a email and told me that he was going to send me and update my order that i placed and paid (10K) for. I give him the bennefit of the doubt, this was four weeks ago, everything started over again, prommisses, no answers to emails.
This is the eamil i just send to him:
Hello Rhandal,
Here i am again, i still think that you are again not keeping your word.
That you are not working on the things i ordered, this because you had more then enough time to put something together.
Who the f*** do you think you are that you can keep on lying to me and other people, i can't understand that you can look yourself in the mirror every morning and start a new day knowing you are in deep sh*t.
You keep promising things but you never deliver, what the f*** is your problem and how the hell do you aspect people to believe you.
But hey, what do you care, as long as you steal peoples money and they are stupid enough to believe you you don't care.
Just keep in mind that i won' t forget, nobody gets away stealing my money not even if they live at the other side of the world.
Again you pulled my leg and get me pissed off again,.
I am really wondering how many emails you get everyday from people you do business with in the same way you do to me. It can't be so many anymore because almost everybody knows the way you work.
I know that this email wont have any effect on you because you are used to this by now. But remember if you are not sending what i ordered i will find you, it may take 2 years or 5 but i will get what i ordered. And this is not a treat but a promise.
Best regards,
Rene Ribbens.
I am telling you this again, please stay away from Rhandal and his company Remotei. The only thing he does is getting your money and run.
I can't worn you enough, he is a thief.
Please tell everybody you know, copy this our send your friends a email so the keep their money. Its better spent with other manufactors of cameramounts that ar to be sincere and trustfull.
Sorry for my bad Englisch

Dude----
You spent 10k and don't have what was promised------
WTH---- Bite the bullet and fly out here for under a grand (holiday travel is cheap) look him in the eye and set things straight---- If there should be any problems,,,,,,,, follow him to the bank and get your money back. Yeah it sucks but at least you can recover a higher % than you would playing tag with the whole email thing.
This may not be the best way but it has always worked for me.
Good luck,,,,

Hello All,
Trust me, the last two years i've tried everything to get either my money back ok to receive the things i ordered. By law, telephone, emails (200+), visit, talked to his partner etc. And John if you don't like it i don't care. You don't have to give a reaction or even read this tread. Rhandal stole my money, not yours. I am going to make it my business now to worn other people not to buy anything at Remotei. I know that i am not the only person who's got rippet off but the scam of Remotei stops here.
This is the reaction from Rhandal i received today,
Rene,
WTF!!!!!! Like I said, I will keep you posted, but unfortunately things do not
happen over night here. We are still finalizing the new design on this new
system and like yourself, another half a dozen customers are waiting. We have a
couple bugs to still fix, but like I said, you are on the list to receive this
unit once it is complete. I will do my best to keep you on the test stage, but
I cannot daily.
I understand your frustration, but quiet frankly, you have already caused
enough damage to the company, that you have caused us more than 20 fold of what
you have already paid us. Still, I am going to keep my end of the bargain and
have a system, better than what you originally ordered, sent to you. Your
recent public post has really bite another big one on us that the company has
decided to put your order at the bottom of the pile.
I will be in touch.
Best regards,
Rhandal
Rhandal,
I was always at the bottom of your list, convenient far away on the other site of the ocean.
The only way to get a reaction from you is to send emails like the one yesterday.
I didn't cost your company squat, this is your mistake and let me tell you this, as long as you don't send me my order and keep on delaying i keep on sending other people emails to worn them for the kind of person you are, in my eyes a liar and a thief.
Like i said i wont forget, is soon as i receive the things i ordered i stop sending emails and reactions to other people.
I am sick of hearing over and over again that you are working on my order, that i cost you a lot of money, that you after more then two years still fixing a couple of bugs.
Your full of crap. And like i said i will stop my complaints as soon as you send me my stuff and until then.
I will be your pain in your ass, and at the end this will cost you al lot of costumers and money.
BTW because you didn't send me anything its costing me money and let me tell you that's a whole lot more then you lost at this moment.
You will find this email back at different forums.
The solution lies with you.
Its about time that other people in your company feel the reaction of the way you are running your company.
Maybe things change.
Best regards,
Rene Ribbens.

Hello people, a update,
Rene,
One of the privilege in our communication is that they stay confidential both
ways. This means that any e-mail or discussion we have should remain between
us. However, you are free to discuss your experience with us anyway you want
publicly, but posting our communications directly on a public area is strictly
prohibited. This has always been stated in our past communications and you have
been advised. This matter is aside from our current situation and we will
proceed against you.
Your current order will remain and will be delivered as you have suggested.

Rhandal,
You can put whatever you want in your emails, its strange that it started just now after i publicized our emails on the net.
You can go to court if you like but your case wont stand. It is you who is causing all this. The only thing i can do to get your attention is posting our emails on the net.
As long as you don't deliver their is no confidentiality, my dossier is full of you emailing me that everything is going according to plan and that i soon can expect delivery. To remind you this started 4 weeks after the confirmation and payment of the order, so i think i will have a strong case. Please don't forget all the other people that you told the same stories.
I will keep on doing this, i am getting sick of your arrogant reactions and telling me what i should our should not do.
Its been to long now, nobody including me believes you.
Like i said i keep on doing this until i received my complete order.
You started this and the only person you can blame this to is your self.
So to stop this, send me the things i ordered and paid for.
Best regards,
Rene Ribbens.

Rene,
If I were you, I'd forget about getting the equipment and be asking for a full refund!

Full refund!
No respectable business would take money from a customer then allow two years to pass without either delivering a product or issueing a full refund...
Full refund... and add interest.
Remotei (Rhandal)... this has destroyed your credibility and that of your company. For a company to charge such a price for its products buyers will surely do some checking into you before purchasing. This kind of publicity is not the kind you recover from.
Refund the money...

There is absolutely no way I would accept anything other than a full refund from this jerk. As a foreigner, I also feel vulnerable buying from overseas, and the feeling of helplessness must be sickening.
He doesn't deserve to make one cent from you, and I would even go for lost interest on your funds.
Out here in Australia, tow-truck drivers make really good debt-collectors, especially when wearing overalls splattered with red paint! :)

TopView,
As some have suggested, I get really annoyed at people taking advantage of one another in our little community. It sounds like you're at a significant disadvantage in that you're overseas. If you'd like me to try and help out I will. You'll have to give me the complete history, along with whatever you know about this business. Where are they located? How and when did you pay? What was promised?
An email or paper-trail would be helpful. If you'd prefer for me to keep my nose out of it I understand completely.

Hey Rene,
I too am in the same predicament as you in regards to Remotei and Rhandal Sayat. Unfortunately, the amount of money that I wired him was substantial more than you. I placed my order in mid June with a contract delivery date of Sept. 2006. I have received nothing to date except empty promises from Rhandal. I have waited long enough! Fortunately, I live in Arizona and can make an easy visit to his facility. In fact I will be flying out there this week to demand a refund. I have also retained an attorney if he refuses to hand over the refund and will file a civil suit against the company.
In addition, I have contacted detective Andrew Hill (AHILL@sbpd.com) of the Santa Barbara police department that has had previous experience with the company. Andrew did indicate that it is a legitimate company as of 2 years ago and several complaints received have been settled via refund or civil court. I would suggest contacting the detective yourself.
Also, it would be prudent to file a complaint with the FTC. The more complaints they receive about Remotei the better. Tim Johnston (http://www.hutchwest.com/Remote-I.htm) may also be able to help.
I personally will persue this matter as far as possible. This should not be allowed to continue.
I will post the outcome of my visit next week and may be able to shed more light on the subject.

amazrice,
Good luck with this. It sounds to me like you know what you're doing. I suspect you'll be successful. If I may offer a suggestion or two... Do not let this crook get you worked up no matter what. Remain calm but serious. Don't let him start asking the questions. Keep an absolute focus AT ALL TIMES on how and when he's going to get you your refund. It's not about anything else.
I don't believe TopView has been on this site since his second post of this thread. I poked around this case just a teeny bit out of curiousity, and it appears TopView has been more active on RR.
Also, please update us here if you don't mind. We all like to hear success stories.
