we did the proto of these with jappa usa - known as cyclone and sold under a bunch of different umbrellas as initially all metal upgrades for the original 3dx and then known as ''sonix'' after market parts.
i could never get mine to fly well at all...looked like it would run like a well oiled machine...but after several frames, head parts, belt drives, mods, new belt pulleys etc....i gave up.
mind you this was about 18 months ago...so maybe its been sorted now... would like to know how you go on it.
i have a heap of spares for it that i can send you for free gorn...they should be ok..
basically its the entire kit about twice over.
let me know if you want them.

Hi Tim,
not sure what differences there are between then and now...but I have one of the newer gun metal/chrome versions...looks great and flies great!
Crashes good to :D
IDK what happened to jappa USA but they aren't doing the cyclone450 anymore..
Can you post some pics please Darkside??

Here's a link to some pics. Basically it is the helidirect HDX450 FSEV4 with different anodizing...when I first saw pics I wasn't impressed, but in person it looks REALLY nice

Cool, looks nice.
I just upgraded some of my head parts to V3, fixed a vibration issue I had that just would not go away, so thats good lol.
Do you have any trouble getting your battery into the chassis?
Looks like at the front it has a crossmember in the way?
I like the look of the V4 chassis but have held off because of that cross member.
Cheers

..... fixed a vibration issue I had that just would not go away, .....
this is the exact reason why i didnt progress the heli. what did you do to fix it?
we noticed that the grub screws on the main pulley were forcing the centre ''off centre'' and thought that it was that...no matter what it couldnt be centred due to the tolerances used.
is that fixed now?
