Don't really think it matters what heli the ATG is mounted. Since it reads engine RPM's to control the speed. The reports I hear about the ATG is that it works very well. It is basically the same governor that Curtis has used for a number of years.

ok thanks.

But you said:"It is basically the same governor that Curtis has used for a number of years." Means Curties has been HOMEmaking his own governor last time ?

Yes Curtis has used electronics made by his father for a number of years. Gyros and speed controls. They also use other electronic devices made by them to tell them what is happening on the heli.

WOW I am impress :noteworthy

Hmm what does that 'electronic devices' tell what is happening on the heli ? etc ( fuel low, engine load to much, blade bog to much ) ?

No low fuel or engine load sensors that I know. They do have a heli dynometer that they use in the shop that will let them know how engines preform.
I have had the priviledge of being around Curtis and his father at a few World Championships. It is amazing to me to watch the father/son team work together to achieve the ultimate flying heli.
