Newbie to the forum and i have a slight problem. i have the Trex450se with a 401 gyro and the futaba 7cap transmitter. I have set up the gyro as per Finless Bobs instructions and all seems good there. Everything does what it says when it initialises (the gyro) and controls well in all directions when manually swinging it about. When i wind it up it controls well but once i get a good bit of head speed it starts to wag like a thing possessed. I have had the gain setting all over the place to try and cure it and still no joy. Any advice appreciated.

Too much gain, either your servo arm is too long or your gain is too high. With a 9650 I drilled a hole as close to the screw as I could get the linkage and the gain was still in the mid 30s to get it to hold and not wag.

Thanks.
I think i am going to have to reconsider the way my servo is mounted as well. I dont have a true straight line between the servo and the tail linkage there is a bit of a bow in it. Thanks for the advice.
