Seriously, when we were flying the electric UAVs in the winter, we put the packs up on the dashboard, with the heater on full blast...man those LiPos loved it! We'd get summer time endurance in 20 degree weather.
Rodney, it's about a 2.5 hour drive from here. No biggy though...I think poor Bobby has the long haul.

OK i just punched some real estate company in my gps in lake placid says 2hrs 30 minutes for me
I will come as long as mike shows up becuase iam sure he will show us the saftey feature of the Radix blades :WOW des :nanabobo

Thanks for the coordinates, I goodle mapped it from my house and it's 53 miles, 1 hr 31 minutes. We'll be there for sure, field looks great on the map.

mike, you can get a room in Sebring, about 15 miles from the site, Google hotels in Sebring. it's the closest town, Ron

but planks are fun for us old farts <G>,.. and you don't have to take cover as often from the current generation heli stick-bangers
If we go for Melbourne someone should look up Gary Wright and see if we can get him there....he needs to quit playing with the planks so much anyway...lol

yes, I'm still around. Actually flew a heli again last weekend (not mine), so that makes something like four or 5 helicopter flights in 2006 <G>
hmm,.. 2 hour drive to a heli event, and I don't have a heli now. I think I'll pass.
