Hello,

I ordered several lepton MJP carbon option parts some time ago. I'm now in the assembly process but i can't use the Lift Kit. All the holes are drilled for 3mm screws but 2,6mm scews and nut are coming with it! Not compatible. Once in place, i can't put the cross member because it's bumping on the frame BEFORE the frame holes and the lift part holes are aligned together. The only way to solve this is to rework the cross meber with a file to create a flat section.

Am i the only one with this problem?

Thanks for your help.

Nicolas

Are you mounting the lift plates on the outside or inside of the frame? I installed mine on the outside and had no isuues.

Check out Eheliflyer's recent post and look at his setup. I have mine installed on the outside of the frame. I did use some spacers (some T-Rex 450 rotor blade washers, the 2.5mm) and this helped (along with the supplied plastic washer). I did have to trim the plastic washer so it would fit properly between the main frame and the screw but everything works fine!

I'm mounting it on the outside too. So when i want to put the cross member its bumping on the frame before the treaded hole is facing the hole drilled in the small carbon plate supplied in the lift kit. I will have to cut the plastic spacers to make them fit because the problem is much the same than with the cross member. It's not that bad, i have a much worse problem with one of my tail bearing plate being bent right out of the box. And the bearing is damaged. Probably a problem during the bearing assembly inside this plate. I will probably have to buy a new set...
