Please help. I have on my work bench a new in the box trex 700 3G combo, motor and pipe.....but now I read about upgrading the screws.

Everywhere I look they are sold out of the sets. Does anyone know where I can purchase it?

The ironic thing is I've been waiting for the heli for 3 weeks...and now I have it but can't start to assemble it. Maybe I should use the supplied screws?? Not sure but man do I want to fly it.

I've used these screws with great success:

You'll need at least four bags of them. They come in different color washers also.

Or you can buy one bag of 45 Lynx screws, a bit more expensive, but very nice.

Hope this helps you.:)

Lynx makes an excellent set of frame screws. PN: LX0073 http://www.experiencerc.com/store/lx0073-_m3x11_button_frame_screw_45pcs-p-4799.html (http://lynxheli.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=28&Itemid=13)
They have flanged heads, which eliminate the need for those little button washers. They're a bit pricey, but worth it.

And RCScrews for everything else.

The Lynx screws are top notch! And without the washers, you can use them without threadlock since the shoulders grip the frame so tight.
