As you probably found out, glueing is not the best option.
Replace the grommets(and I oil them after every 2 flying days to smoothen things).
How many flight before this started to happen?
Looks like the glue or the heat of the day has melted the canopy?

glue it definitely not the best option, but at that time those grommets just jumped out EVERY TIME when I put the canopy on - so I was just fed-up. But yes oiling them must help, just I felt with all other helis I have, that never ever was a problem.
Oh, that canopy is not melted, just looks like this. It's basically the glue, and on top of the glue the color, which comes off.
Guess will cut them out now, and restart as described by poerqwa, thanks

If the holes in the canopy are too large this will also happen.

I used thin CA to hold mine in. I also put silicon grease on the metal mounts and the canopy goes on and off very easily now.
