Good Day

I recently asked the difference between the 50 and 60. There is now apparently a new C-Cell 60 available in South Africa. I do not seem to find any info on this heli. Is there a new 60 available, and if so where can I get more info?

Regards

No new 60 has been produced by MA since the Fury 60 Basic/Expert came on the market back in 2001. The 60 size helis available from MA are the XL 60 ST and the Fury 60 mentioned above.

Of course any of the models will accept a 60 size engine with the correct gear ratio.

Thanks for your reply David. The MA site only shows the Ion-X; Stratus and Tempest 3D. Where can the XL60ST and Fury 60 be viewed?

The Fury Expert is a great model
Install a OS70 and the model will perform really well.
More Power?
Find a YS80, but you would have to change your gear ratio.

I would stick with the OS 70 if you want a "60" size heli.
Build it with care, run your engine in nice and careful, spend time to set it up properly.
You will end up with:
A model that doesn't brake down
That performs well without having to worry of things letting "go"
Whose maintenance comes down to "cleaning" only (I am a very "anal" in maintenance, but never got a chance to "fix" anything ever on the model).

If you are very hard on the tail, then I suggest to eventually change the tail gearbox housing to the metal one within 40 litres.

On the Fury, the main maintenance will be once a year to:
re-mesh and re-grease your tail gearbox
re-oil your split maingear after pulling it apart and flushing it out clean with some clean very thin oil.
You will love this model.
