i have g3.5 and futaba t9chp, and am having trouble setting it up for use with helis

the interlink controller works fine, with the throttle/collective working the way its supposed to i guess.

but when i plug in my radio, it doesnt work so well.

it sees my radio fine (the green light comes on, and i do have some semblance of control)

i have set it up as a heli, swh1, which should be correct since each channel does one thing (aileron/elevator/throttle/rudder), but there doesnt seem to be a collective input on the channel mapping chart, so i just cant get it to work right.

perhaps you have to use the throttle with collective, and not use them independently which is more real world?

any suggestions?

thanks,

mark

You have to edit the heli model in G3.5 and tell it to use Pass Thru instead of Software Radio if not done already

You could just have mapped 'Channel 6 - Knob' to the collective channel on your transmitter [channel 6]. The default channel mapping is set correctly for the 9C. All you should have had to do was connect your transmitter and assign SWE to channel 8.

FWIW I prefer the interlink to the wear and tear on the gimbles and switches on my 9C that it would get from hours of sim use.
