Broken Head Pins

Hi guys - due to a little encounter with a bush, I've broken the two little tiny guide rods that extend downward from the rotor head to the two slots in mixing plate. Can I replace them separately from the head itself? Do I need a whole new head? That would be so annoying....and pricey.

Not that I am aware of. You'd have to replace the head block.

You can try making those rods out of flybar - just cut two pieces of flybar and glue them in the head block. I did this last year after an encounter with a tree I believe :) and flew like this for quite some time.

chakotay nailed it, I can't remember but last time I did that very thing I think I held them in place with green locktite.
