I would also like to know how the switch-glo is hooked up to the total-g, i assume its through one of the ext. ports but if any one can explain the procedure a little further that would be great.

Im going to see if there is any power supplied on those ports when running in satellite RX mode (Im not hopeful) so I can run a push glo, but Im fairly certain that they will not send a signal to control the switchglo.

If not, might be time for a new regulator with a glow driver.

there are a few posts about using switchglo with the total-g over at allmyrc under the curtis youngblood forum. i'll be setting up my total-g within the week and saw some good info about the unit on the curtis sub-forum.

Yep! Great info! http://www.allmyrc.com/forums/r-c-helicopters/ask-pros/curtis-youngblood/1282-total-g-set-up-question.html

"Sorry I did not explain that well in the instructions. In the Channel selections in the interface, you simply assign what channel you want to control Aux A or B (Aux A is EXT 1, Aux B is EXT 2). This will send out the signal for the channel you select. The only catch is EXT 1 and EXT 2 do not carry power for the channel. So if the item you plug into these needs power in addition to signal you need to "Y" harness in power from one of the other channels. "
