I have a ys motor ive ran about 8 ga. of fuel threw it ,and it just dose not seem to be turned rite im useing a gov.set at 1950,normal flight is ok it smokes alot no heating issuses be when ever i start to throw my 700 around the head speed falls off,it happens with tic-tocs,rainbows and other 3D moves,climouts seen ok lots of smoke a little bog, ive went for lean to rich on the high end but have not messed with the mid much could it be my mid ,were my problem is ,everybody i fly with has align or os motors so there not much help,but there motors seem to hold headspeed better ,thanks guys

Hey man try these, a friend of mine can tune a YS to run like a sowing machine...
idle screw...should be flush with the case about 3/4 should idle great...
Big Needle hover needle should be about 1.25 to 7/8
high needle 3/4
the right pipe is important as well if you have a sb19 then these should work great...
also double check your throttle setup and make sure 50 in 50 out is center on the carb and make sure your gov is working as well...
and all of this is based upon 30% as well...

Oh forgot one thing...1980 head speed with the 700 gearing makes a big difference... seems small but it really does...

ι think that 1.25 on hover its too lean...! the best is 1.25-1.50 somewher there...
What temp do you have with these ???

well i have been getting temps about 165 170 but like i suggested 1.25 possibly 7/8 you have to hear it if it hangs then richen... but 1.5 should be fine as well pretty hot and humid here in Dallas right now...
