Here is some aerial video we shot in Steamboat this last summer. Just finally got the avid editing machine all setup and this is the first edit.

Please bear with me as I learn the system and try and find a good mix of clip quality and file size.

This was such an awesome place to film/fly. Got the chance to meet up with Cedar and talk shop over a few beers. He has some great scenery in his backyard!

Would you mind sharing your set up? Is this done on a heli with a camcorder with image stabilization? My videos are all blurry due to the vibrations of my heli, it'd be nice to find out how you eliminate vibrations.

Thanks guys, it was a really fun place to fly.

Rcboosted, this was shot with a Joker Maxi 2 and Airfoil Pro1 mount. I use an electric heli so the vibrations are minimal, the underslung mount takes care of any that I dont manage to tune out :)

It is really just trial and error, keep trying and you will end up with a combo that works!

Wow, that's a nice set up. No wonder you have no vibration. :) I will try hanging mine to see if that makes a difference. Thanks.

Tabby, i saw the still 360 degree photo you have posted on your website. That is really nice work. Would you be willing to share your setup and how someone would go aobut taking this type of still?

Thanks,
Doug

DJ,

I assure you, the spies would be so bored watching me they would quit after a day!

Doug, they are made the same way as ones from the ground :) multiple shots stitched together to and then output to QTVR, sorry I cant be more specific.
