well what I do is I put up with the spooling only once and when it's spooled up you hit "P" and would save it at that time then every time you hit the red button in the interface will start there

Any way to make it remember the "P" location from one G3 session to the next ?
Half the time I'm in the dark and can't find the "p" key or the keyboard on the sim PC is in the floor, tangled in a mess of wires. I realize this is a minor thing (guess I'm very lazy) but I've wondered if I could 'save' the P location nearly every time I fire up the sim and have to go fishing for the keyboard and the P key.

Thanks,
Looks like I'll be p-ing on my keyboard then.
They have so many parameters you can adjust why didn't they put in a spool up rate?

May be because it's a "simulator"? So they try to simulate the real thing???
And considering that is a teaching/learning tool and patience would help to lower anxiety levels may be it's a good way to learn to take your time before you put your investment under mother gravity mercy.

No kidding it's a simulator.
If they are trying to simulate the real thing this is one spot they missed on. I'm not new at this and out of the 10 helicopters I have the only one that takes that long to spool up is my Whirlybird 505.

People complain on both ends of the spectrum with this issue. If it spools up fast then people complain because the tail swings around, and if it spools up slow people complain because it takes forever. :(

And that confirms my earlier statement of why didn't they make it adjustable. That way we could fine tune it to make it more realistic to our feel.
