There is a Harbor Freight store near me, but you can also buy stuff from them online. But they have this really nice aluminum case that is full of scored foam. The foam, scored into little blocks pull out great and make great pockets. I have my Traxxas Revo radio in one. I went to get another last weekend, for the upcoming JR radio, but alas, they were out. May have to go online. Anyway, they do have cheaper aluminum cases, but were kinda flimsy.
Good luck! :D

Local hardware store (Bunnings) sells a cheap but sound aluminium "service man's" toolcase. Felt lined with some movable dividers. At $24 it's bargain compared to the official JR cases at ~$100. I just put the original polystyrene insert my Tx came in into the case and voila, a perfect fit with room around it for 3 lipos, charger, cables and a few tools.

BTW JR case is now down to $50, and even has JR logo on it. :)

Pelican case, the 1400 fits perfectly, none better. Waterproof, lifetime guarantee, you can stand/sit on it.
