Minicopter, German makers of the Joker/Acrobat Helicopters made it to IRCHA this year and they pulled out all the stops!
The 2004 IRCHA debut included the new "Joker 2" and last years secret . . .'91 powered Acrobat(IC).
This year both Gerd Guzicki (minicopter owner, designer, manufacturer) and Joe Howard (US Distributor) had Factory pilots along to demo their products. It was a shame however they were bumped from the Noon Demo on Saturday(Just too many folks with new products this year).
For those of you in attendance Ingo ripped off a killer demo with the Joker 2 just after the Iceman Commith! (Curtis Youngblood) Curtis definatly sent everyone back to school, he has a "New Baby" a "New Machine" and Oh yes . . .a "New atittitude"!
Sorry, where was I . . .Oh! I Hope you all saw the Joker 2 fly, the secret "Buggy Motor" is the size of a cold MGD can! and he wasn't taking any chances on controllers this year he had the biggest thing Schulze offers on board. (except he left off the radiator . . .it's water cooled!)
Tanic batteries was also in tow and Brian had built Gerd a special LiPo pack . . .it looked like a Six Pack of MGD's, I'm sure the lights dimmed when they charged it . . .anyway I snaped a few pic's for all the Joker fans out there so here they are. . . where'd I put that beer?
