Hey guys and gals,
I'm curious to those who have ordered stinger 30's in the past. What's the lead time on back orders? They said it was on back-order and I was curious as to how long it's been taking to get them in once they are ordered. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Think it'll make it by Friday? I'm supposed to go flying on Saturday and would like to have it so I can have some help setting it up from some experienced fliers. I have been flying a small electric and wanted to get flying on this one.

I just hope it goes out today so I can have it by next weekend. I have a buddy helping me set it up who's been flying for well over 25+ years. We are supposed to go out to the flying field on Saturday Dec 2nd. It's gonna be one of those LONG weeks waiting to see if it arrives. I'll check gohbee this afternoon and see if it's shipped and a tracking numbers listed.

My stuff from Gohbee arrives in WI in 2 days by UPS ground.
TX is closer to SC so my guess would be that you will have it no problem.

Well.. I got home from work and the status of one order is still back-ordered and the other's still pending from when I ordered a crash kit and extra blades. Wonder if it went out or not.

It'll show up on the 30th. That's what UPS's estimated delivery date is. I can't wait... it'll give me 2 day's to get everything installed and setup before flying on Saturday.

Anyone have any setup tip's to give me before it comes in? This will be my first Heli to setup myself. I'm setting it up then having a buddy check it out before it's flown. Any tips will be greatly greatly appreciated.

Hey guys,
My kit showed up but I ran into a few troubles/questions. First... The muffler that comes with the kit doesn't work with a OS .37 because the mounting base it to large and hits the screw holding the ball for the throttle link.
Question... Which way should the blades spin freely in order to make sure the clutch isn't pressed hard against the bell?
Also... Sizing the links is a normal process correct? Some of the links are so tight it's hard to get the links off with ball link pliers.
Yet another... The whole swash plate seems so tight to move. I guess this could be from the ball links being so tight or it could be from the screws holding the joints(L where one servo pushes or pulls it to tilt the swash up or down) to tight.
Any comments or suggestions will be greatly appreciated as I put this bird together.
Just some of the joints are so tight the servro's I'm sure won't come close to being able to move them. They are hard to move by hand.

the muffler flange can be ground away if you have a ginder, dont take off to much so as the cap screw wont hold tho. as for the ball links being tight set the machine up to see if things bind if so , and mabey just size the ball links to loosen them up some BUT not to much.

Hey guys,
I got the bird in Wednesday and got it all put together. I'm having to wait to connect the links till my ball link sizer comes in. Some of the links are so tight it's a pain to move them by hand. I also had to grind down the top part of the muffler in order for it to clear the carb arm. It was around 3/8" thick and my arm was hitting it.
I also noticed 2 things.
First, one of the 4 plastic numbs on the fuel tank has a hole in it meaning it won't pressure up. I also did not recieve a fuel tank tray as listed in the manual as part number 40107 that goes underneath the fuel tank to hold it in place. I don't want to have my fuel tank fall out in mid flight that would not be a good thing. All though my header tank would hopefully allow my to land it.
Let me know if any of ya'll have had these problems.

call David at Gohbee. He stands behind his product and will ship quick if he has it, or rob another kit and ship quick anyways. don't rely on email, spend a dime and call!
I cut the odd arm off of my 37, you only need one anyways. :)

i have had trouble with the gohbee tanks getting holes in them when you install the engine, if there is no fuel on the tank try some 2 part epoxy to seal the tank up
