Just curious,

How many can fly the bcpp backwards? I've been practicing using the helimax cp on real flight g3, but it sure is hard without a good gyro. I have seen it done on a few videos using some monster set ups (like a brushless tail with hh gyro), but havent seen any on a bird that is close to stock.

Flying other birds backwards is relatively easy, but flying the blade cp backwards is a serious feat.

Its not too hard to do if you fly slowly, otherwise the tail is very apt to windvane and you just cant fly backwards with any speed. DD tails and dual motor tails fair better especially with a good gyro.

I'm a newb, but I have the g3 sim and a BCCP as well. Ive tried some backwards flight with the completely stock setup and it was rough, it windvanes alot. Currently I can roll it, loop it(alot of times it looks more like a "flip" because I have to give too much negative pitch.
Everyone tells me this will make me a better flyer, but i'm very tempted to get a gyro and beef up the tail. I want to hover inverted, but my brain/thumbs can't make dozens of those tiny tail and cyclic corrections fast enough yet(even when I've done my best with the proportional mix, gain adjustments, tracked and trimmed). I guess that's everyones point is, it makes you concentrate, trim well, and practice alot.
I like to fly these (blade imitations)on my g3 http://www.helifreak.com/viewtopic.php?t=10865 the "stock BCP" tail seems to windvane and even move around when you make throttle stick moves.
