Hi Guys I have a problem with my hb cp2 as this heli is more or less the same as the blade some one might know the reason. The heli hovers fine but as soon as I nail the power for a cimb out the tail swings badly to the right.Have adjusted the gain and proportion with little or no effect changed the tail and main motors and tried various types of blades.Feels like the main motor is drawing the power from the tail motor, the heli is a couple of weeks old and has done this from day one .Thought it just needed fine tuning ,would a duff 4in1 cause this? I have also noticed that the swash plate moves down when the collective is increased not sure if that's how it should work or not and in normal mode there is only a small amount of travel on the swash when operating collective the cyclic travel seems fine.Any help would be appreciated thanks.

All is normal, the yaw to the right when moving the collective up is due to too much torque for the weak tail to overcome quickly. Revo mixing, which is done in the 4-in-1 unit is supposedly the cure, but the Tail just doesn't have enough power. Not much you can do about it other than upgrade the tail to dual motors or direct drive. The swash should move down with positive collective and up with negative. Sounds like yours is working correctly. When in normal mode, most of the negative pitch is mixed out, so you get -2 to +11 in the pitch range. Idle up gives you full pitch -11 to +11 so you can go inverted.

Hi back again i have found that the tail problem is not just on climb out but also when i imput a fast yaw to the left(tail to the right) feels like the tail is hitting a rubber band and springs back. If this is how these heli's behave normally I think ill get rid and buy something else :arggg:

Ok easy fix, turn your gyro gain down. The tail is never going to hold perfectly still, but you can get it pretty close. Flies much better in FF.
