My Swift's New Look

Recently put in a 600+ (9t pinion), so I thought I'd give her a new look to go with it! :D

Much better than my old silver scheme, which was difficult to see on overcast days.

Those sure look like 550 Raptor 30 blades to me. Same thing I am using.

with my 530 blades i could fly 7 minutes for 3800 mah .
with 550 blades , how lond could i fly ...i don't want to lose time fly ... :roll:

Yes, they're the Thunder Tiger 550s. They are great blades, mine are about 112g a peice and came balanced out of the box.

You're running a different power system the I am, so I can't really tell you what your flight times would be with 550s.
With a 600+ and a 9t I am getting about 8.5-9min (Sport) on 5s 5000mah 10C lipos. I usually put less than 3900mah back into the packs.

Actually, with a 1050kv motor and your 11t pinion on 5s you should be seeing about a 2003 headspeed. Assuming that motor is 90% efficient.

If you changed your pinion out for say a 10t you would get about 1821 HS. That would increase your runtime.

What is the efficiency rating of your motor?

I'm getting 1860 HS with my setup. Good for sport.

Another thing, if you go with a 10t pinion, you can use 6s for hot 3D flying and 5s for mild sport/ap/av.

my efficiency rating of my motor is 91 % .
i fly in iddle up at 87 % and i have 1950 hs .

7 minutes is good for me , my 2 lipo 5s1p 5000mah FP have only 50 fly each .
later , when my lipo will be dead , i 'll change for 6s1p 5000 and a 10 t pinion .
for the moment , i fly in this configuration and i'll change when my 2 lipo will be dead :wink: ...
with 5s1p , my swift fly very well , i do mild sport and little 3D ( looping ect ect...) .

thank you for your help , now i know that my mext lipo will be in 6s1p .

Cool, I haven't seen this canopy used on the Swift before.

How is the forward part of the canopy attached to the frame?

I happen to have that canopy for my Raptor.... :wink:

on your raptor , you have to use the original attached to the frame .
but on the swift 16 you have to make little modification .
