Basic programming quest for 7C?

I'm using a futaba 7C radio and want to add expo to cyclic. Is negative (~30%) just set in aileron (ch 1), elev (ch2) and pitch (ch6)? I guess i want to make sure expo is not adjusted in the swash menu.
Also, how do i ensure that the switch function for expo is not used? Thanks.

The 7C crowd seems away, I have a 6EXH. If you are flying a 120deg swash, you are correct. Setup Chan1,2,6 the same expo. On my radio the switch selects two setups, programmed with the switch in the correct position. Other radios require assigning the switch to a function.

The swash menu sets the total range, then you can use dual-rate and expo to tone it down.

You wont see the option to set it on channel 6, just go into the expo/dr menu and set it up on 1 and 2, it will effect the function and not just the servo.
