I'm looking for a portable way to power my chargers at home and outdoors? I have been trying a Jump Start for Auto's, but it drains fast, its a 300amp type...anyone else tried these? I seen people with car battery's in the back of there trucks charging but I want a cleaner way, that I can carry indoors also. I have a 12v 7.5 amp battery in my field box but it not big enough for the 11.1v 2100ma Li-Po's.

Thanks

either a deep discharge marine battery of high amperage and/or a small Honda-esque generator.

I used a deep cycle marine battery with good results for 2 years now. It has it's limitations but works pretty well. I was able to charge a 10s 3700mah pack about 4-5 times as well as some smaller packs before it got too low to charge anything else.

I have just invested in a honda generator and 25 amp power supply for next season. Not the cheapest route but I can charge all weekend long and not worry about it.

I use deep cycle battery and a Battery Tender (www.batterytender.com).

At home I just leave the battery hooked up to the Battery Tender and use it as a power source when needed. Even with the little one, this works fine.

Battery Minder (www.batteryminder.com) is also good product.

Both will not overcharge the battery but willkeep it topped. Also nice if you have a car you dot drive during the winter (where I discovered them).
