My V-Balancer blows fuses- whats the deal?

Everytime I press the link button (for 3 seconds to connect) my balancer blows the 10amp fuse in the balancer. I have double checked the battery polarity and charger polarity and everything is fine. Anyone else seen this problem? I am using an Evo 4900 6cell pack connnected to a super brain charger.

The INPUT red and black leads are not touching or connected to each other correct? The LINK mode expects the inputs to the V balancer connected to a charger or a "load". If you are connecting it to a charger try leaving the red and black input connectors not connected or touching each other and see if it still blows fuses. If so it is bad.

Any followup info? FlightPower will stand behind it 100% if it is bad.

I have found a way to keep if from blowing the fuse....its still stange but if I plug up the battery to the balancer, then press the link button, then connect the charger to the balancer, it wont blow the fuse. Then I can charge the battery and it seems to work fine.
