Auto bearing

I've noticed several times when I'm coming in to land my 50v2, right as I'm stopping forward flight, something on my heli will screech, the engine sounds like it rev's up a little and the tail will twitch. Is this the auto one way bearing slipping? And if it is, is the only course of action to replace the bearing?

Have u noticed it locked up, like after u land ? Was it original or did u uprade to the white gear? Mine was tight for about 5 tanks and would occasionally lock up, but it works fine now...

I.ve never seen or felt the bearing lock up.

It's a 50v2 and came with the white gear.

I loosened the thru bolt on the white gear. I thought maybe I had it too tight and it was distorting the bearing race. I will get to see if it helps this weekend.

Curtis, this will result in a crash. I've had the same thing happen. I could not arrest a really fast stop. Your basic pancake landing. Replace the hub and auto bearing assembly, soon. :mrgreen:
