first of all i'd like to say hello to everyone.. I have a GlobalEvo-Flight Sabre Heli and I am going to buy a lipo for it.. i heard a commonsencerc 2cell 800 mAH battery pack is good and the stock electronics will have no problem with it but I was wondering will the stock electronics stop at 3 volts like does it have a cutoff point? if not what can I buy for it? cus i dont want to mess up some good batteries..

and another question...
what is the fuse mod to protect my electronics in a crash?

I heard of this before but i have no idea what it is..

thanks all

 Welcome

Umm never heard of that heli myself or the "fuse mod" so I am no help there but thought I would say "hello".

RC I've read about putting fuses in series with your motors to protect your ESC during a crash if the throttle is still up and the blades are stalled. That's all model specific..etc As far as your battery upgrade affecting your electronics you may consider asking the manfacturer on that if you don't get an answer here.

The fuse mod is for brushed motors only and you put an auto type mini blade fuse inline with the motor. You cut one motor wire and either solder int h fuse, or get some small spade lugs that fit the legs of the fuse. Use some heat shrink or tape to cover exposed metal to prevent shorts.

For a 300/370 motor heli a 7.5 amp fuse seems to work well. 2 or 3 amp for tail is dual motor heli.
