I have no real complaints with my current setup using the Align pipe with the HZ but am wondering if anyone has seen a noticeable difference going to a Hatori SB20 from the Align pipe?

I personally didn't tell a difference when I had 2 700N's. One was flybarless and the other flybarred. The flybarless had the Hatori and the flybarred had the Align pipe. Guys at the field seemed to think that my flybarred 700 with the Align pipe 'sounded' like it had more power. The Hatori is a bit quieter. I wouldn't change pipes.

Thanks for the insight. Like I said I have no complaints and the power is fine but wanted to get some opinions.

I was flying the Align Pipe and change to the SB20 Hatori and saw a big improvement. The tune was better and easier. I saw better power even with a richer tune and a better transition for loading the head to unloading the head. Very good pipe.

I could tell the difference as well, not dramatic, but noticeable.

I think it's the old analog vs. digital argument.

I don't think the opinion over pipes will ever end.
