Servo install is UP!
Lots of work here to fit 9650's properly!
I hope I covered it all and feel free to ask questions.

Excellent!
There is some very good information in there for sure. I am coming from a Corona to the Logo so this will be my first CP heli ever and the best videos for me will be the alignment/setup of the swash I think.
The other thing I really like is that you don't use a lot of technical jargon when you do your videos and this is very good. I need plain english to understand, as will a lot of new pilots.
Your videos are awesome Bob... thank you!

Right on! Those tips using the exacto knife to losen the elbows and the block were exactly what I needed for my Logo 10 build - thanks!
Mery Christmas Finless!
All the best to you and family.

Thanks theLane!
Head build part 1 is up!
This head is complicated so it may be 2 or possibly 3 parts. I have flimed up to the seesaw and flybar so not much more to film.. I will do the rest in the AM.

Hey Finless have you thought any about, after you get the 14 flying, doing a build vid with the V-Bar System from Mikado.
I have been considering a 14 with a V-Bar System.

I wont be able to afford the V-bar system myself but if Mikado is willing to send it to me for a video I would be glad to do it.

Bob,
I just finished viewing the blade grip install video...awesome job, by the way.
About the comment you made on the grip orientation...if you did put the grips on with trailing control, would there be enough clearance between the head and the grips if you took the mixer arms off the grips instead of taking the blade grip/spindle assembly apart?

No... because of the top flybar configuration, there is still no way to flip them once on.

Regarding the V-Bar:
HA... right on. It's about time those vendors started giving you free stuff for your videos... (they should) and if/when they do... take it! :)
They can't buy better advertising anywhere than your build videos and a forum discussion.

OK, the rest of the head assembly is up.
Next will be servo setup, then head setup.

OK more up tonight!
ItalianBob and others... I know you have been waiting for me to finish these and I am sorry they took so long (the holidays and other reasons slowed me down).... Please when you finish your heli I would like feedback on the vids and how they helped you if at all? (and what I should have built on in the videos or maybe explained better?) and how it flew! PLEASE provide feedback that I can use in future videos..... THANKS :)

I was told that you have good building videos for the trex 450sa online? If so, can I please have the website to access them? I just got my first trex and it seems that there are some complicated stuff to assembly such as the esc directions etc...
Thanks Mike..

Hey Bob, are you using a 9650 on the Logo 14 tail too?
Finless
12-28-2006, 10:51 PM
No I will be using a 601 and 9256.... The frames are made for a full sized servo and a 9650 is not good enough! Low end would ba a 401 and 9254.

Nice! I can't afford that, but would a 9256 w/401 work do you think? I am building a Logo 10.

Sorry, that was a stupid question... it's been a long day. Well, I think I'll go for the "low end" solution of a 9254 w/401... you hurt my feelings.... just kidding

Hey Bob I think you're done a bang up job on all of your videos including the logo 14. I don't know if you've seen my posts in some of the other threads but your logo video was the straw that broke the camels back and was a deciding factor in my getting a logo 10.
I refer back to your logo videos whenever I encounter a problem and consider them to be a great reference library.
I wouldn't change a thing about the way you do vids. I do have a suggestion for a future video. If you ever decide to give up that 12z would you consider doing a setup video on the DX-7 considering its the cats meow and all.
I cant wait for your maiden flight of the logo 14, "enjoy".

I second all that and the part about the DX7 setup too :)
