Over the years I've notice that my transmitter screens have a tendency to get oil and dirt on them from use at the field. No matter how hard I try, every transmitter I've owned has ended up with scratches.
With the 14MZ, the problem seems to be worse since it's a touch screen. Every time I touch the screen I have a need to wipe it off and that leads to scratches.
Since I've got a buddy that's in the business of die cutting labels I asked him if we could make some screen protectors for the R/C transmitters. After considerable effort we are able to offer what we think is a must have item for this transmitter. We only made a small run to see if there is much interest.
Here is some information that may answer any questions.
We are devout modelers ourselves and have made every effort to provide you with the very best screen protector possible. With the advent of today’s new, larger LCD transmitter screens and with the harsh environment of the flying field, we believe that a screen protector is critical to the long life and resale value of your investment. With many transmitters now being equipped with touch screens, the need for screen protection is more important than ever.
Cleanly removable, even after extended periods of time.
Able to be repositioned, repeatedly.
Each screen protector precision engineered for your specific transmitter.
While specifically designed for application on touch screens, it is ideal for all R/C LCD screens.
Excellent optical properties. 99% optical clarity. 3H Pencil hardness for superior scratch resistance.
Adhesive virtually self-applies by spontaneously “wetting out” onto smooth surfaces.
Selling for $13.95 post paid to the US. Two screen protectors are included.
PayPal preferred.

One note... I work 3 and 4 day trips for an airline. When I'm gone it's very difficult for me to check e-mails and put things in the mail. I will get caught up when I return.
Thanks,
Bill Vail
