When I built Will's Logo 14 I used S9650's and I liked them but had to mod the upper bearing block frame "spacer" to get them to go in.
I dont mind using them but I actually would like something a little faster maybe.
Any reccomendations? JR or Hitec maybe?
I was thinking of the Airtronics 94761's. It's slightly smaller than the 9650 but they have the same torque etc. Anyone use these?
Also last question what to you all do to get the elevator linkage straight up and down if anything? When I built Will's I left it at the slight angle. I was thinking of doubling up the balls but was afraid the screw (or the plastic servo arm) would not be strong enough to handle the side twist load like that.

Bob you can buy these nifty little cf arms that work on the 9650 servo wheels made by Custom Heli Parts, you can buy them directly from them or from ReadyHeli, I have not used them but they apparently are the tits, they give a straight angle througout the movement...

I just put a washer under mine and yea it is abit of an agle but no real big effect in flight at all from what I can see or feel, but I would use those new things if I redo it. Anyhow I am pretty happy with the 9650s myself, I did not modify anything up top on the bearing holder thing as you have mentioned,,,, or are you talking about room for the wire from case? If so mine are just bent over abit but was thinking about drilling or sanding the bottom of the block to allow more room....

Hmmm interesting.......
I mounted the 9650's on the INSIDE of the servo holder plate not on the outside. I did it that way to try to get a straighter shot. With them on the inside of the plates the Elevator servo mounting tabs hit the bottom of the top bearing block frames spacer. I had to grind a little off of it to get them to clear. Because they were mounted on the inside I got straighter links almost the same angle these custom servo arms provide :)
Still was not straight enough for me though but as you said I did not notice it in flight.
Well I think I am just going to go with the 9650s then..... Now to FIND a motor!

Ok I understand now, yea these little arms are supposed to give you roughly the same angle. Looking forward to your thoughts on the heli once she is all up! :)

I really like the customheliparts arms. Length is 19mm :

They go on the small servo wheels that comes with the 9650's and you can adjust the angle on them so that you can have a square setup with no subtrim. Look great too! I use a nut between the ball and servo arm on the elevator servo. Needs some extra work to get them perfect though.
Mikado also have some servo arms out now that work great on the Logos. I think they have holes on 15, 17 and 19 mm so I will use those on the Vbar Logo 10 :

Used the long arms from Dubro for a while, but they would not give the same straight angles as these arms do - they would also hit the canopy on the L14.
Here are some pictures of my L14 with the CHP arms. Seems like I placed the elevator servo on the inside too:

Hey Bob if you run the longer balls on youre sevo arms you wont need to put the servos in the frames ( the ball links on the outer swash) running the 9650's I just built a L103d and used the Jr3421 and man they are awesome!! So figured i would give them a shot in my 14 So far i only have 2 flights not sure if i like them better then 9650's iam running both servos on 6volts as well

Bobby.... Longer balls? You mean the ones with the built in stand off or something after market?
Since I am doing a build video I need to build it stock with what folks are getting in the box but I can and will suggest some ideas. Do you have a link or something to the longer balls or do I just tell them to order the Mikado balls with stand offs?
