Is it true that YS is going to release there new 50 soon?

I asked YS Performance (the US distributor for YS) about it a few weeks ago, they told me they expected to see them around spring of '05.

Does anyone know if the engine will have more power than the OS 50?
I'm running a TT50 in my Raptor but it doesn't have the strength I need.

If it's anything like the 61, 80, and 90 you can't possibly lose with one! Nothing would make me happier than tossing that OS 50 in the junk drawer! :twisted:

It's likely. Every YS I've owned has been stronger than anything of similar displacement.

I just read a post on RR that said that Ishiimokei (http://www.ishiimokei.com/) has them listed now. When I went to the site, the price is 20,790 yen or about 189USD. Not sure if they are actually available or if the listing is prerelease. The RR thread said that YS Japan was quoting early October for a release. Come on October :mrgreen: !!!

Wonder if these will be able to drop in in the place of the OS50's, such as in a Rappy 50?
