Well, I need to order me some 3000mAh 6S battery's, I know there was some controversy about hobbyking and all.

Is it safe now to order from them?
Anyone knows good place to order in US for good price?

My batt shipment from HK are fine. and they have the best price that I know of...

When you ordered from HK, was there any additional cost other than what was displayed right before you ordered and made payment? I'm assuming after that there may be duty costs or something? If there were additional costs, what were they and about how much? I'm just trying to understand what a TOTAL cost would be to get something shipped from them, including anything they don't mention after you pay already. Thanks in advance!

Pay EMS shipping , Ships faster and your in the U.S so no additional fees are added. Alway look at the weight and see what else you can get to get, keep the weight as close to your max for that amount as you can. I think your best bet is 3 batteries leaving only a few gm left . Devide your total cost adding shipping by how many batteries you ordered and thats what you pay per pack. Still better than any price around here.

You guys are lucky ... we got nasty customs here in the Netherlands. Stupid aswell .... they contact you to send them the bill .... but hk added 16 copies of the bill to a envelop on the package!

Just order 4x 5Ah 30C batteries on Friday with some small shrink rap and stuff ( 2g left in packaging : ) They shipped out today, fastest packing and shipping i have ever seen from them less then 24 hours.

DKS, I have just ordered 2 lipos from Hobbyking, no hidden charges for us in Canada, no duty.Done lots of purchases from them. Shipping can be slow, as it seems they use diffrent postal companies. 3 orders now are being sent by Swiss Post, the other by Singapore Post, and one by Hong Kong Post???
