PV0499 tail rotor hub

Hello all,

Just purchased the PV0499 tail rotor hub for my Raptor 30 (v1). Have a problem though. Though the description of the part says that this hub replaces all original tail rotor hubs it does not seem to fit the tail grips for the v1 30. The innerdiameter of the bearings is too small, though the manuals for the 30 v1 and v2 and 50 v2 all use the same bearing size (d3xD8xW4). Can anyone offer any help, am I not looking at this thing correctly or what?

You need the newer v2 tail grips, and bearings to use this upgrade. They do use a different size :)

Bight the bullet and get the V2 grips and bearings. The V1 tail grips are very dangerous in that the set screw that secures the grips and bearings to the hub breaks easily. One missed hitting me in the face by about a foot, plus or minus. I only heard it go by.

Ordered it today............just wish I would thought of asking before I ordered the hub only :arggg:
