Hi,

What length tail blades is everyone running on their Evo 50. I have the standard blue ones on at the moment but I'm thinking of getting some Carbon ones. Is 95mm too long?

Also, what difference to the flight characteristics will the longer/shorther tail blades make? :dontknow

Cheers

Ben

You can use 92mm or 95mm
A few of us prefer the narrow blades, 26mm rather than 30mm
cos the wider ones make quite a bit more noise.

The blue Katana blades that came with the Sceadu are only just ok,
not great for 3D and not great for fast backwards

I have the blue 92mm Freya blades - they work perfectly.

You don't want to go too big on the tail, it's cost power to drive the tail
and it can make it easier to load the engine
(as I found out with funnels working against the engine torque)

Trex 600 CF blades work well
I like the SAB blades and Vblades (all are 95mm)
