hey guys,
I'm flying mild aerobatic with my stratus and I installed the thickest shim anyway to get the stiffest dampening on the head. Would that be a good setup? I fly at 1850 rpm. I know that the hard dampening is for extreme 3d, but what are the other options for? Thanks.

With the one piece dampeners. There is only one shim that comes with them. That is the setup I use. I don't fly what anyone would call extreme 3D. The setup I use works well for me. The heli will only wobble at the bottom of an auto when the head speed is bleeding off. I turn the rotor head at 1850-1950.

David i got mine with 3 different shims, i installed the thickest one, and thanks for reminding me, my heli wobbles too when the blades slow down when i land. Some times its so bad that it might fall to its side. What do u do for this problem?

Nothing you can do for the wobble at the end of the auto rotation. That is the nature of the dampening being stiff and the head speed being low. It is just something you have to live with. I try not to let the head slow down too much before I land the model when autoing.
