Came across this, I think I'll stick to the electronic version, it's pretty intersting. Anybody know if it's been applied yet?

It looks like a torque to tail pitch mixer. It can easily be done in the radio nowadays but people would also use a gyro additionally to that. Or use heading hold gyro and forget it all.
I’ve seen another cleaver old design but can’t find it again now. It had a long tail rotor shaft with the blades on one end and a flywheel on the other. The flywheel was hinged so it can pivot and it was somehow mechanically mixing the flywheel to the tail pitch.
