Hi guys,

A friend of mine bought by mistake this OS 91RZ-H wich has hear exhaust.
Is there anyway to use this engine on a trex 700?? Maybe a curved header or changing the crankcase to convert it to a side exhaust engine? Any ideas??

Thanks in advance,

Leandro

I really doubt it will work, there is only a few cm seperating the engine and the tank. I think its better to try and sell it and get the right engine :)

No, this won't work.

There is not enough spacing between the engine and carbon base plate.

Interesting. I stumbled across this engine on a website earlier today and couldnīt help myself thinking about a custom made header and dual exhaust. One pipe on each side. Kinda cheesy i guess but would it help bring the noise level down?

That is a very interesting ideia, specially because we have no options for this engine. A header for two pipes would be kinda heavy and expensive, but a custom header for a long pipe would be good I guess.
