Yeah when I was in the Ukraine, especially in the south, the Russian were not too popular.

Russian are not popular in the West of Ukraine.
I from Ukraine, but east. And at us the attitude to Russian as to brothers, but there are separate persons to whom Russian do not like - but them a little.

I have a guy that works for me from Russia so I will have to ask about this... Actually he is the reason I have been learning Russian :)
He tells me some things but not everything because I dont know what to ask but I will ask about this.
