Thanks for the video. A good closeup view of what goes on in the heli during flight. I'll secure my wires a lot better after watching.

One of the more entertaining videos I've seen lately! Very cool to watch what the swash is up to and the battery wires moving around give you a good idea of the forces on the heli. Great perspective.

nice video. Still you did fly close to your friends a few times. Don't want to think what could happen if you run into a technical issue and loose control.

I wish I had a nice house and property with a pond like that. Must be fun for the kids. :)

wow that is so cool. Its amazing how little the swash moves to get the heli into extreme manuevors. If I was on that island in the pond and a 700e buzzed me I would get under water fast :)

Great video and great flying, lots of fun to watch. Flying REALLY close to those kids in the pond though, glad nothing went wrong there.

Nice vid Marshall! Looks like the dog got whacked at the end LOL. I only laugh because it looked like he got the point without getting hurt.

You going to IRCHA this year?

That's pretty cool. Btw, did anyone else get sick/dizzy from watching this video?

If I had made a video like that I would not have had the nerve to show it in public!

you can see the forces on the battery itself moving around.... That was to close to your friends and very unsafe... Cool vid otherwise...

Neat video but the guys on the raft in the lake, probably not the safest thing I have seen done with a heli but I have seen a lot worse....

The gear mesh sound sounds terrible BTW and I bet that is a stripped gear waiting to happen but it is a video so going on judgement here...

At the end your dog got hit by the blades? Poor dog....

I'm not the safety police, but that looked very reckless to me. Good flying, good video, but BAD judgment.

That looks like a VHOLDR HD camera. It has a very wide lens (notice the curvature on the horizon) which means that the close call at 4:00 in the video was much, much closer than it appears in the video. I'd guess well under 10 feet. Pretty sporty.

Thanks for pointing that out. Yep, just like the VHOLDR HD, this camera has a 127 degree field of view (almost a fish-eye) meaning that objects are much, much closer than they appear. I would say that it came within feet of the young men.

See camera description at the link that you provided: http://www.goprocamera.com/FAQ_HD.php

 Rolly eyes back at ya.
