Anyone ever thought about doing a dual brushless setup on the Blade CX? I have been thinking about it and am going to give it a go. The battery leads are going to be a PITA, but the rest shouldn't be too hard. I will use two brushed to brushless converters, so gyro timing of the motors should work like stock. two 20mm x 30mm brushless motors with 2mm shafts and two CC phoenix 10 for ESC. Mods will probably add a good ounce to the weight, but their should be plenty of power.

Should be fun if anything, maybe a bit expensive, but I can use the motors and ESC on other things if it doesn't work.

I think I'd put my cash towards my next heli rather than the CX. Just my opinion.

I hear you about getting other helis, but I already have 7 so no room for another heli. Besides the garage is full of R/C airplanes and trucks too.
