View Full Version : Where do I mount my battery?

Well, I am getting down to assembling all my parts for my Shogun. Everyone, please contribute photos to how you have all your electronics, battery's, etc. mounted on your Shoguns.

It looks like I will have to extend my front plate for my bird to accept my Apogee 3sp1.

Let me see your adaptations! :glasses2:

I just used some lite ply to make an extension then used some heavy duty 3m sticky tape to stick it on there.

hello

Im the new guy to this forum and the hobby, shoguns my first heli and a love it (except for the tail assembly), im running stock with a kokam 1500 cell pack,
will you pros give me a good short list of your upgrades so i can beef up my micro machine... all your help will be appreciated... :D

Thanks, I was trying to figure out the best way to do it. I really didn't want to do any frame cutting, just trying to figure out how to do the extension. For balance, it looks like I will need the weight up front anyway !

Hellboy, check out all the threads in the Zoom/Shogun section, you will get some great ideas !!!

it actuall squeeeeezes in pretty good but i have put the battery platform in and batt now sits in front of the frame

i just got a v2 for christmas. Not sure how to setup the electronics for brushless motor. Please help if possible
