This would be a cool subject to talk about to start off this subforum.
Here are some of mine, past and present:
The Caliber 30, the heli that thought me how to fly:

And the Caliber 5, my newest addition for the 2007 Dutch 3D competition:

Since I was one of the ones asking for a Kyosho forum, here are some of mine. I am still new to the hobby, only flying for about 3 weeks so mine are all static pictures on my friends RX7. If I can get out today or tomorrow I will take some in the air.
As you can see I still have the training gear I made on the heli. The US $6 I invested in dowels and tennis balls has saved me a lot of cash so far.
I like the CAL5, I wonder why more people do not fly them.

Beautiful choppers, those Kyoshos. I like that the electrics have double gear reduction, so they don't need the tiny canopies that most other choppers have.
If only Kyosho were more popular in the USA.

Popularity isn't something I'm looking for when I select a new heli. If there are any problems with a heli they'll be easy to solve if you look at other heli's with the same kind of construction.

Yea! It was a breeze to setup (except for the 9c. That was hard). Although the clutch broke twice! But it's all up and running now.

Isn't that one selling with stock electronics Ed?

Nope. Just with a stock brushed motor. I upgraded it to a brushless Mega motor and a alloy head. Here's the original specs:

I have a Concept 30, new and unbuilt in the box yet... I pulled the box out yesterday and looked at the blades and boom. Man this thing looks big after getting used to the TRex450!

ErichF.
That Cal90 looks just fantastic, what is the price of something like that?
I have a Cal 3 and a Cal 30 awaitng the totalling of the 3.
When I can say I have learned to fly helis I really would like a Cal 90.
Actually I have sworn never to buy Kyosho again, but looking at your pics have tempted me. That black and gold looks just awesome, and the mechanics too.

Thanks Finn,
The C90 is the flagship Kyosho bird, one of the top three competition machines in the world. They can be had for around $2600USD, but you can get lucky like me and locate a kit from a private individual. I got mine NIB from a guy here in FL for $2000. Some Japanese shops may also have good deals on one.
There isn't really anything you need to do to the machine, as there are no upgrades. If you're interested, I have a Caliber 90 Build thread over on Runryder's Kyosho forum with all the pics.
Cheers,
