Money transfer help

Hi guys

Any suggestions how to get money from a South African (who wants my stuff thats for sale) to New Zealand / Australia / USA. His creditcards are not accepted by Paypal. Which other tranfer ways do you guys use for small (less than $100).

CC are not accepted by paypal??BS! whatever you do do NOT send anything untill you have CASH in hand. tell him to go to western union. Sounds to me like might be a scam. never heard of a legit card not working with paypal. it can take a few weeks to learn you deposited a fake money order/bank check. tell him western union and you will ship after you have CASH in hand. they also like to send fake/stolen checks for more and have you send them the ballance.. be carefull

I second what packinair said most if not all credit cards are accepted by PayPal. Dont send anything to that guy unless youve got the cash in hand.

Cheers guys - I haven't had any problems in the past and he is a Hfreak member, but I'm not in SA so I don't know what their CC rules are.

I know for a fact that SA CC are not accepted by paypal. do not ask me why!?? :dontknow

but a few south african co-workers of mine can't use paypal because it does not accept their CC.

but please be care full like the other guys say.

Even if you get a check or money order, make sure it clears first. Not saying this guy is going to scam you, but it has been going around lately.

This may be a bit unorthodox, but you're talking less than $100 - right? Have him send cash. Exchange it for "real money" at your bank, and send him the stuff.

i sold a South African guy some sensors for $40 and he sent me a check, deposited it and forgot it, my bank then wanted to charge me $50 for administration fees for aout of country check, go figure. I sent him back the check and he sent me 2 twenty dollar bills in a real nice thank you card, Ron
