Triple Creek RC Heli Event

Triple Creek RC is hosting a Spring Heli Fly-in and FAI clinic April 13th - 15th. Triple Creek is in Balm FL (close to Tampa), see our web site http:\\www.triplecreekrc.com for directions. We want to welcome everyone to our new field, we have a large flying site with covered pits area. All RC helis are welcome, AMA required. Flying starts at 9 each day. On Sunday there will be one round of FAI Aerobatics.

Eric, who do you think we should go to for hotel rooms? I was thinking around Apollo Beach Exit and 75?? I'll hit a few this week and see what they say.

I was thinking about the new hotel on the corner of 301, and BigBend Road. I think it is right there next to Publix. That would put them about 10 minutes from the field.

We missed you dude at the last one in Lake Placid, very nice field and a nice bunch of folks, it will definetly be on the 2007 Turkey List for sure.

I've already put Tripple Creeks event on our calendar for April.

Well it's nice to know I was missed! I was made aware at the last minute of a home club event I needed to attend. Sorry I couldn't make it down :(

I hope the PC gang can make my event in March, too...we added a funfly to the contest, ya know! Same field I hosted the Tampa Gathering at.

If not, I'll be seeing ya'll again in April at Trip Creek.

We'll try to make yours as well, gonna be a busy 2007, Steven is now flying a new 50 size Heli called the Hurrican 50 from RJXofUSA, nice solid bird, we'll let you get some stick time next time we get together, Rolo had a go at it and said he liked the locked in feel it had, we now a couple of gallons thru it so it's gettin broke in and flying great.

We'll have two flight lines, very large flying area. $25 entry fee goes to the USA Team. RV camping (primative) on site.
