9Z 601 setup

How do you guys set your 601 up in the 9Z. Just set the ATV's in all conditions to 100% asign aux1 to switch f and then set the gyro in dual mode and set the rate for each condition?

or is there a better way to do it?

Also, about were is everyone running there gains?

Pretty much, you can inhibit the duo mode and just use the ATV's for the Gyro gain. I have mine at 37%. AVCS in all conditions.

I use the DUO mode in the gyro program. Works great for me , I have used the DUO mode ever since it was introduced with the 9Z WC for the GY 501. By using the DUO mode I can run two different AVCS gains or two Normal gains in each flight condition. Makes it nice to flip a switch and have a different gain.
For hovering I am using about 60% gain, for aerobatics about 43% gain.
The gain setting will depend on your tail rotor setup. For example, size of tail rotor disk, speed of tail rotor disk, also how the bell cranks are setup to provide throw.

I use mine like piloterror said, it's easier that way. Except i have my gain at 32% on all conditions.

I also run mine with ATV's and I like the Gain at about 50 N and 45 HH seems to
work well for me.
