Hello all,
I just got my Raptor .50 v2 used from a guy on Sat. I was a little cautious about buying used but I met up with the guy and found out he's the president of the flying club. Came almost ready to go.. just add the receiver and radio... came with the Heli max super starter..
I installed my new DX7.. Met up with a couple of local flyer's.... the did a little fine tuning and did a short test flight for me to check it out...

I took over ... a bit nervous... only thing I've flown was my Rex 450se.. and that was barely.....and very short till I crash...

I got the 50 it going took it up and was hovering... pretty well ( I was very surprised).... must of had good luck... brought it down.... had a nice big grin on my face.... I'm hooked... selling off all my car stuff to get my Rex 600 going.....
..........................Cant wait to try again....

Yes they are alot more stable than the smaller helis and easier to see, once you get over any intimidation you have you will really enjoy it.

http://www.raptortechnique.com has alot of Raptor setup and maintence info.

Ya... I was a bit intimidated by it.... but after the local guru went over the heli and made a couple radio adjustments and he did a little flight test.. I flew it a bit.. (was getting dark).. and was hooked...

He then went over the 450se and I flew that one fairly well to ... like I said much to my surprise... amazing how much just the little fine tunning dose....

Thanks for the site....

Bought my R50 used, too. It has done alot to help me along the way to better piloting.

Hey Ghost,
I mounted the RX up front on top of the RX battery...
