Can this be used with a swift

i was just wondering can this set up be used with a swift because i have this stuff locally.

set up 1:

600L Align Motor - 1650kv
75A Align Esc - 2-6s LiPo

and emoli 6s or can the 75a esc handle 7s because it says from 2-6s lipo.

Set up 2:

Hacker A30-8XL - 1100kv - 3-5s LiPo
Hobby Wing 60A Esc - 2-5s LiPo

Can 6s or 7s emoli be used with this set up because the motor and esc says it can only handle up to 5s

The 1650kv motor from align cannot be geared low enough. You would be happiest with a Z-30 1100 from Taiwan. It's very good and suprisingly cheap. Century sells it as a 600+. Yes most of the guys using emolis do use one more because the voltage drops under load. With 6s emoli my head speed is 1930 and with a lipo 6s, same voltage at rest, my head speed stays at 2000+ for the six min flight. TimT

thnaks Tim so 600+ i have seen many people with that set up. what esc do you recomend and for the emoli if the esc is rated at 6s lipo/li-ion i can still use the emoli 7s what the voltage of a fully charged emoli cell thanks

thanks bob i think the motor has a to hight kv so the head speed would rip those woodies off. so i think i will get the century 600+ with 7s emoli and align 75A.

The Align ESC willnot support over 25V (7S lipo)... I dont know about Emoli so I hope 7S is not over 25.2V?

Emolis have the same voltage as lipos. The problem is when loaded they drop off to a lower voltage so the head speed goes down. I start off with 2000+ with both 6s emoli and 6s lipo. Then after about 1 or 1/2 mins emoli drops to 1900. The lipo set up stays 2000+ for the whole six mins. I used 7s emoli pack and the head speed went past 2300 so I backed off. I have a couple of 6s packs , emoli that I don't use now that 6s lipos have come down so much in price. The fellow that was using the 1650 align I talked to couldn't keep using it because of the stupid head speed. TimT

ok thanks guys i have already burnt an align 35A so i think ill stick to 6s emoli, 600+ and 75A esc. half way through next year i might consider going one

i have just read a post in using your trex batts to get 6s 4200mah i fly with some guys every sunday and for there EP-8's they use 6s by puting 2 TP 2100 packs together is that ok with the swift to or by putting them in series would that be 6s 22.2v (2100mah 0r 4200mah) i think its 2100 because dont you need to wirer them up in parralael to get 4200.

You would need at least 4 trex450 size packs, yes. Lots of weight but worse than that the problems of even balace. Not cg but batteries charging and dis charging the same. TimT
