new-b looking to the future

just ordered a blade cx2 to play around with till spring, but after tax $$$ looking to get something better to get into and was looking at the T-REX450
is this a good heli to learn on? and next question is where is the best place to pick one up would like to get a combo deal with all the trimmings
heli kit (I would like to build it so I can get to know it) radio (spektrum), gyro, servos, blades, what T-REX kit should I get they make a ton of different
kits, or is there a different heli I should start with.

Trex is ok as a trainer, it can be tamed down pretty well. There's lots of vendors that sell the rexy and combos, Modefos, Heliproz, RCHover and Ready Heli all come to mind.
