His email has changed, his website www.carnivorecanopys.com is now offline, and I still am out one heli, $180 buck in canopies and $80 in shipping.

based on his profile he's at Fort Bragg, Ca, sounds like he may be military? have you tried calling fort bragg to see if they know who he is? If he's military he'll be far too easy to find.

edit: of course he could have lied about his identy and locatation..so ..*shrug*, I'd contact godaddy to get is info based on mail fraud. I'd also contact your local postmaster general.

Negative. I poked around for a half hour some time ago. Found a good deal of stuff. But most of it became useless when he decided to go "RV'ing for a while" with his wife and kids. His last sale on ebay as "little_bit_o_paint" was on 11-6-06 (he had 48 feedbacks, all positive). He was also active on all the boards (rcgroups, rctech.net, runryder, rchelispot, www.swift-tuning.com, www.chico-rc.com, globalservices.globalhobby.com/globalforumm www.rchelimag.com/forum). He's 36 years old. I have some now defunct phone numbers. I'm sure one of his old buddies on chico-rc.com would know how to reach him.

I used to talk to Jason all the time on the phone and actually considered him a friend...he even sent me a pic of him and his son...

seemed like a great guy..I sent him TONS of stuff and canopies to be painted...I evene helped him sell some stuff and he never sent it so I had to refund over 300$ to the buyers...

I knew he was going to be travelling in a motorhome and he assured me it would be fine...well it's not!

He owes me about 1500$ or more of stuff..including a bunch of raptor, evo, and trex canopies...

I have is parents home address where I KNOW he was staying for a while...I spoke with Jason right after the new Year and he assured me all was okay...well he dropped off the face of the earth and I haven't been able to track him down...I did send a certified letter to his parents house and it was dliverd and signed for so I know they got the letter...

Here's his parents address...if you find anything out let me know..I'd be glad to file legal actions as well..I'm sure you can find out the home phone number as well..I used to have it but lost it...

So that's what happened. I bought a canopy of his, I think it might have been through you, Jag. When it wasn't delivered, you returned my money without question. I just figured the canopy was lost in the mail, but was it that he just never sent it?

Damned shame, as he's a real artist with canopies.

Trooper...I'm assuming that he must have never sent them...he's a damn thief!...I ended up getting about 5 people complaining they never got them either....so couldn't have sent them.....so I ended up paying everyone back...never heard back from him either...

I'm sure he'll resurface some day though...and we'll get him...
